SaaS
How Northstar Software moved from competing priorities to a shared roadmap.
A fictional SaaS company needed a clearer operating rhythm after rapid growth created competing priorities. CONSOLEV helped define decision ownership, planning routines, and a shared roadmap.

Challenge
Rapid growth had created competing priorities and unclear ownership across product and operations.
Approach
Establish a shared roadmap, decision owners, and a consistent planning rhythm.
Illustrative outcome
Better visibility into priorities and a more predictable delivery process.
The context
Northstar is a fictional software company that had grown its team quickly over two years. New hires brought energy, but planning still ran the way it had when the company was ten people around one table.
The challenge
Rapid growth had created competing priorities and unclear ownership across product and operations. Leaders could see the symptoms, but not yet the pattern behind them.
Our approach
Establish a shared roadmap, decision owners, and a consistent planning rhythm. We started with short conversations across the team, then tested what we heard against how work actually moved.
The work
Together with the leadership team we mapped every active initiative, agreed on a single quarterly roadmap, and named one decision owner per workstream. A light weekly review replaced three overlapping status meetings.
The outcome
Illustrative outcome: Better visibility into priorities and a more predictable delivery process. Replace this section with verified results and approved measures before launch.
Client perspective
“We finally had one roadmap everyone could point to.” (Demo quote. Replace with an approved client quote.)
Key takeaways
Growth exposes informal decision making faster than most teams expect.
One visible roadmap reduces negotiation between teams.
A simple planning rhythm beats a complex one nobody follows.
